First identify which NAR1 fee you mean
A NAR1 price can mean a filing registration fee, a document-search charge or a provider’s service fee. HK$105 is the official timely-filing fee for the local private-company case below. It is not the price of downloading another company’s return or a ClariRecord extraction quote.
The table below concerns local private-company annual returns. Public companies, guarantee companies, registered non-Hong Kong companies and exceptional cases need their applicable rules. Establish the company type, return date and delivery circumstances before choosing a fee.

Private-company registration fees by delivery period
These official fees were checked on 2026-10-26. Periods run from the return date, not the posting, search or download date. Month-based thresholds must not be replaced with fixed 90-, 180- or 270-day counts.

How do the 42-day period and holidays work?
For an ordinary local private company, the anniversary of incorporation anchors the annual return date and its 42-day filing period. Check first-year and statutory-dormancy exceptions separately. Re-domiciled private companies use the relevant re-domiciliation anniversary. Verify the base date from the certificate or official search before using the Registry’s calculator.
The 42-day count includes Sundays and public holidays. The official FAQ provides an extension when the final day is a Sunday or public holiday, to the next day that is neither. An ordinary Saturday does not automatically move the deadline to Monday. Do not count business days only.

Keep delivery and re-delivery evidence
Posting a form is not itself evidence of completed delivery; keep the acknowledgement for electronic filing too. The official guidance explains that rejected documents can incur fees based on re-delivery. A higher registration fee is separate from any other legal consequences of late filing.
For your working record, separate the return date, checked deadline, first delivery, acceptance status, rejection reason and re-delivery date. This makes it easier to trace the acknowledgement instead of treating an email or postal timestamp as proof of an accepted return.

If you need a copy, use the document-search price
Downloading an already filed annual return is a search product. The schedule lists HK$16 for a registered-user download and HK$18 for a non-account user, separately from annual-return registration fees. Start with the free name and document-index searches before selecting a paid image.
For ClariRecord retrieval or PDF extraction, specify the entity, required return date, quantity and format. That quote does not imply filing a NAR1 on the company’s behalf or paying the annual registration fees listed above.
Frequently asked questions
Is the NAR1 fee HK$105?

Can I file on Monday if the NAR1 deadline is Saturday?
